What’s Inside
Three pastes. Every occasion covered.
Each paste is stone-ground from whole organic ingredients — no fillers, no water added. Two heaped teaspoons makes a restaurant-quality curry in under 20 minutes.
Red Curry Paste
Bold and warming, made with dried red chillies, galangal, and lemongrass. The most versatile paste in the range — works for curries, marinades, stir-fries, and soups. The ideal everyday Thai paste.
Medium heat · 2 jars includedGreen Curry Paste
The spiciest of the three — bright, herbal, and deeply fragrant. Made with fresh green chillies, Thai basil, and kaffir lime. Vivid, complex flavour that’s hard to find outside Thailand.
Spicy heat · 2 jars includedYellow Curry Paste
Warm, slightly sweet, and deeply comforting. Turmeric gives it a golden hue while lemongrass and galangal add fragrance without heat. The paste that converts people who thought they didn’t like curry.

Restaurant-quality curry in 3 steps
The secret to getting the best flavor is always Step 1 — frying the paste to release its aromatic oils. Don’t skip it.
Sauté the Paste
Fry 1–2 tablespoons of Mekhala Red Curry Paste in 2–3 tbsp of coconut cream over medium heat for 1–2 minutes, until fragrant and the oil separates. This step unlocks the deep flavour of the galangal and lemongrass.
1–2 tbsp paste + 3 tbsp coconut creamSimmer Your Dish
Add your protein or vegetables (tofu, chicken, prawns, sweet potato, mushrooms — anything works). Pour in the remaining coconut milk and a splash of water or vegetable stock. Simmer for 10–15 minutes.
1 can coconut milk · 2–4 servingsServe & Garnish
Serve over jasmine rice or rice noodles. Finish with a squeeze of lime, fresh Thai basil, and a drizzle of coconut cream. Dinner: done. Clean, delicious, and genuinely effortless.
Ready in under 20 minutesPaste vs. Sauce : This is a concentrated curry paste — not a ready-to-eat sauce. It needs coconut milk (or another liquid) to create the final dish. One jar makes 4–6 full curries when used at 1–2 tablespoons per serving.

The 6-Pack includes 2 jars of Mekhala Organic Thai Red Curry Paste, 2 jars of Mekhala Organic Thai Green Curry Paste, and 2 jars of Mekhala Organic Thai Yellow Curry Paste. Each jar is 100g / 3.5oz and contains approximately 6–8 servings, giving you 12–16 complete curry meals across all three flavors.
Red curry paste is made with dried red chillies — bold, warming, and medium-spicy. The most versatile paste for everyday cooking. Green curry paste uses fresh green chillies and is the spiciest of the three, with a bright, herbal character. Yellow curry paste is the mildest, coloured by turmeric, with a warm, slightly sweet, earthy profile — ideal for family meals and those new to Thai cooking.
Yes. All three Mekhala curry pastes — red, green, and yellow — are 100% vegan, gluten-free, and free from fish sauce and shrimp paste. They are also USDA Certified Organic, Non-GMO, nut-free, and made without MSG or artificial additives. If you have a severe allergy, please exercise your own discretion.
Absolutely. The Mekhala Thai Curry Paste 6-Pack is a popular gift for home cooks and food lovers. It covers every heat level — mild (yellow), medium (red), and spicy (green) — making it a complete Thai cooking starter kit. The glass jars are visually striking and arrive securely packaged.
Each 100g jar yields approximately 6–8 servings (using 1–2 tablespoons of paste per serving for a dish serving 2–3 people). With 6 jars total, the 6-Pack gives you roughly 36–48 individual servings, or 12–16 full curry meals. The pastes also freeze well in tablespoon-sized portions for up to 3 months.
Start with the Yellow Curry Paste — it’s the mildest and most approachable, with a warm turmeric-forward flavour that most people love immediately. Once comfortable, move to the Red (medium heat, most versatile) and then the Green (fiery and herbaceous). The 6-Pack lets you work through all three at your own pace.
Once opened, refrigerate and use each jar within 4–6 weeks. For longer storage, freeze the paste in tablespoon-sized portions — keeps for up to 3 months in the freezer with no loss of flavour. The glass jars seal tightly and are easy to keep in the fridge door.
Yes — all three pastes are available as individual 100g jars in the Mekhala shop. Many customers use the 6-Pack to discover their favorite and then reorder that paste individually. Single jars are also available as 3-packs of a single flavor.
